SONIC DREAM

Lava Dreams (she/they) is a queer, multidisciplinary artist, performer, songwriter, and musician based in Kansas City, Missouri - who's been writing music for as long as they can remember.

After performing and writing songs with bands throughout elementary school, high school, and college, her passion for music led her to pursue a career as a solo artist in 2017 under the name Lava Dreams.

In 2020, Lava Dreams wrote and released a 5-song EP titled "GOOD ENERGY + FOCUS," produced in collaboration with Duncan Burnett. This project was praised by 909 The Bridge as one of the best EPs of the year. Since then, she has written and released eight singles.

Lava Dreams’ music is characterized by their dreamy vocals, catchy melodies, vulnerable lyrics, and visceral rhythms- making them an electric figure in the Alternative Pop scene.

Their latest single, "R.I.P. THE OLD ME," is an example of their budding role as music producer. The track delivers a heavier sound featuring live drums, distorted guitars, and transformative lyrics.
